What industries do you serve?
We work across aerospace, defense, automotive, energy, industrial, telecommunications, building construction, and consumer products. If your application has demanding performance or compliance requirements, there's a good chance we've worked with something similar and we're prepared to develop the best solution for you.
Are your fabrics made in the USA?
Yes. All of our fabrics are designed and manufactured in-house at our US facility in Rossville, Georgia. We're committed to domestic supply chains where possible, which makes us a reliable source for industries with domestic sourcing requirements like defense and automotive.
Can you create a custom fabric for my specific application?
Absolutely. Custom development is one of our core strengths. Our engineering team works directly with your team to develop fabrics tailored to your exact specifications — from fiber selection and weave design to weight, width, and performance characteristics.
What is your prototyping process like?
Because everything is manufactured in-house, we can move quickly from concept to prototype. Our engineers collaborate with your team throughout development, test in our own lab, and get samples to you fast — so you can validate early without long lead times.
Do you handle small batch runs, or only large-volume orders?
Both. We're set up for everything from small-batch prototype and specialty runs to full-scale high-volume production. There's no minimum that prices you out of exploring a custom solution.
What fabric widths and weights can you produce?
We manufacture fabrics from 30" to 90" wide and from 2 to 50 oz per square yard. Weave options include plain, basket, twill, drill, sateen, oxford, dobby, and additional specialty constructions.
What types of fabrics does Southern Industrial Fabrics manufacture?
We produce custom-engineered woven and knit fabrics using a wide range of fibers including polyester, nylon, cotton, polypropylene, para-aramid, meta-aramid, modacrylic, and PTFE. Our fabrics are built for performance — whether the application calls for flame resistance, abrasion resistance, filtration, reinforcement, or specialty composites.
